Teatro in lingua inglese: “Antony and Cleopatra”
La prof.ssa A. Cantarale riporta le riflessioni di alcune studentesse della classe 3^a D ad indirizzo linguistico che hanno assistito allo spettacolo in lingua inglese “Antony and Cleopatra”.
Antony and Cleopatra
On February 20th, 2018 we went to the “Teatro del Fuoco” to see the play “Antony
and Cleopatra” by the theatre company “BLAH BLAH BLAH English Theatre”,
managed by Clair Rogers and Aidan Mc Cann.
It was an adaptation of the original drama written by William Shakespeare,
performed in an ironic, funny, modern and entertaining key. The two actors were
able to play all the roles giving an excellent performance by involving some students
from the audience to play on the stage with them, too.
Even if we had to wait more than an hour until the theatre was opened, we
appreciated the show a lot.
At the end of the show, we were invited to ask any kind of questions, so we learned –
among the other things – that it took nearly six weeks to write and set up the whole
To sum up, we recommend this play to anyone who enjoys history, theatre and
